Tourists at the White House got a surprise today:
– Come on in!
– Just as she and her husband did on inauguration day, the first lady surprised visitors taking the White House tour.  This time she was joined not by the president, but first dog, Bo.
– Bo is like the kids.  He's usually more exciting to meet than either of us.
Visitors chatted with her about her children, the White House garden, even her tennis game.
– I'm trying to get better so that I can beat my husband.  That's my whole goal in life – to shock him.
Meantime, those visitors had plenty of shock to spare.
– You look so much smaller in person.

inauguration day 대통령 취임식

A terrifying moment today in Haiti.  A strong aftershock measuring 6.1 ripped through that county today.  Our Tony Winton on the ground says it's likely that will mean even more problems.
– With so many tens of thousands of buildings in such a fragile state from the original shock more than a week ago it's not beyond the realms of possibility to think that there will be additional damage.
